An Evening of Yoga and Live African Drumming
Connect with the pulse of breath and body as we move to the vibrating rhythms of African drums. This 75 minute yoga class appropriate for all levels will be accompanied by Kristie Vosburg, local drummer and drum teacher. Following class you are invited to stay for socializing. Tea and light appetizers will be served. Space is limited and pre-registration is required. When: Friday, March 19. Daily Practice for 2010
- Be mindful-take time to be truly aware of what you're doing at the moment.
- Uni-task not multi-task. When we multi-task, we miss the essence of what it is that we are doing.
- Stop and breathe. Slow down and take a few breaths. Slow, deep abdominal breaths helps the body and mind to relax. Tame the body, tame the mind.
- Say a prayer or set an intention before you eat and then savor each bite.
- Live a life of gratitude, even when life gets rough. When we give thanks for all we have, it helps us to realize just how blessed we are.
- Find an activity you like to do and do it!
- Spend 7 minutes stretching or doing yoga or meditation each morning. Dr. Oz says that if we can't spend seven minutes of our day doing something good for ourselves, then we need to ask ourselves how out of control our lives are.

Zumba Toning Is Coming!
Its an exciting, Latin inspired, dance 'n tone program. This is the original dance-fitness class taken to the next level. ZUMBA® TONING is an innovative muscle training program with the addition of light weight toning sticks. We provide the two 1/2 lb, sand filled toning sticks, which are very similar to maracas. In a relatively short period of time, this challenging workout helps in building coordination and muscle endurance. Now that you've worked on your lower body rhythm, its time to perfect the upper body! The NEW and exciting Zumba toning program is designed to offer the participant a safe, yet effective total body toning workout! This class is open to everyone, no previous dance or ZUMBA® class experience. More details, dates forthcoming!

My Intention
My intention is to provide you with a safe, fun and inspiring environment
where you can nurture body, mind and soul. I believe we are all on a quest
to live life to its fullest and be the best we can possibly be. My classes
offer inspiration to assist you on this journey yet honor you wherever
you're at on your life path. Classes are physically designed to honor your
ability level whether you're a beginner or experienced practitioner. Each
class offers modifications as well as challenges to meet your needs. If you have a
specific health concern or injury, please contact me prior to
attending your first class so that we can discuss your specific needs and what
class might be best suited for you. Classes are located in Pewaukee, Sussex and
Waukesha. If you are interested in classes at your work place, for
special events (bridal showers, girls night out, birthdays, etc.), or
classes for small groups, please contact me for additional information.
