New Students

New to Yoga?

If you are new to yoga, you might be wondering how and where do I start my practice. Well, read on for some general information......

Arrive at least 10 minutes prior to class to fill out some paperwork. Avoid eating a heavy meal at least 1 hour prior to class. Bring a yoga mat if you have one and a water bottle to stay hydrated. If you don’t have a mat, I do have mats for your use. If attending classes other than at the Pewaukee studio location, please let me know ahead of time if you need to borrow a mat so that I can bring one with me to class. Wear comfortable clothing and dress in layers - the body generally gets warm during class and cools down during final relaxation. For classes at Faith Lutheran, please bring a beach towel or small blanket also. If you are uncertain about which class is best suited for you and your ability level, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
